This is a great article on trimming or "dusting" your ends...I've talked about this often, even done a video (an old, OLD video lol!) I like the way it's explained here for those who are curious about how I maintain my hair. This is not to say that you may not need a professional trim every once in a while, but dusting is a great way to keep splits at bay.
